ACT and National Prevocational Awards
Junior Doctor of the Year
Do you know a Junior Doctor who has made an exceptional contribution to teaching and learning as a prevocational trainee? Maybe you have noticed a Junior Doctor making special contributions to education and training such as project work, publications, posters, presentations to the international, national and State conferences. Keep that person in mind for nomination for a local or national award!
Nominations are reviewed by a CRMEC Selection Panel and a nominee is selected as the regional Prevocational Doctor of the Year. ACT The regional winner is nominated for the Confederation of Postgraduate Medical Education Council’s National JMO of the Year. National winners are announced annually at the ANZPMEF Conference.

Clinical Educator of the Year
Have you had excellent education and training from a doctor in the ACT? Why not nominate that person for a local or national award to recognise their excellence?
Nominations are reviewed by a CRMEC Selection Panel and a nominee is selected as the regional ACT Clinical Educator of the Year. The regional winner is nominated for the Confederation of Postgraduate Medical Education Council’s National Clinical Educator of the Year. National winners are announced annually at the ANZPMEF Conference.

Patient Centred Care Award
The CRMEC Patient Centred Care Award celebrates Junior doctors who deliver care that is not only safe and high-quality but also responsive to the preferences, needs and values of the patients and their families.
Junior doctors are closely involved in the day-to-day care of patients, playing a vital role in how care is experienced. By listening, involving patients in decisions, and fostering trust, this award recognises those who exemplify kindness, compassion and respect in their clinical practice.
The winner has been chosen by patient consumer representatives, and acknowledges Junior Doctors whose professionalism, clear communication and empathy have made a difference to their care.
Through this award the CRMEC honours the essential role of Junior doctors in building respectful and compassionate patient partnerships across our hospitals. ..
